Any adult that is in the dugout or on the field during games must pass a background check. TCBSA covers the cost of 4 coaches per team. Each coach must register for each division they will coach and submit information to complete the background check. Beginning Spring 2015, all background checks will be completed using the SportsSignup application. Please coordinate with your head coach prior to submitting your background check.

To complete a background check, login into your Tri-Cities Baseball & Softball account. Once logged in, click on the 'Apply to Coach/Volunteer'. After you complete the application, you will be notified shortly if you have been accepted. In addition to completing the background check, you may want to review the Tri-Cities Baseball & Softball Rules and Policies.

All head coaches are required to have NYSCA Baseball Certifications as well. Assistant coaches are encouraged to be certified as well, but not required. Click here to visit the NYSCA website
